Cremorne Point to Balmoral Beach 13km. 300m ascent. This walk around the North Harbour shore is partly within the Sydney Harbour NP, goes around Mosman Bay to Taronga Zoo and then visits the remains of an old naval base, to Clifton Gardens & finally Balmoral. Wonderful views over the harbour and back towards the city. Trip to start requires intercity train to Central, city train to Circular Quay & ferry to Cremorne Point. Return from Balmoral is by bus to Wynyard, either city train or walk to Central, intercity back to Newcastle. Map: Sydney Harbour NP walks guide - Harbour Bridge to Spit Bridge. Watsons Bay to Double Bay Foreshore Walk (Stage 2 of Bondi to Manly Coastal Walk) Distance 11km. This walk follows the foreshore between these two bays and provides stunning views of Sydney Harbour, sheltered beaches and remnant bushland in Sydney Harbour National Park and houses of the very rich! Youngville Car Camp Wed - G4 Mount Royal circuit 6km 5hrs. Mount Royal at 1184m is located one hour drive north of Singleton. It is basically all on track, stunning views on a clear day, with some rock scrambling and a steep descent through open forest back to the cars. Meet 8am at Singleton Visitors centre located to the left as you enter the town. Book: Graeme For those wanting to do the Mt Carrow circuit the next day we camp at Youngville campground. Walkers could also do the Pieries Peak one and a half hour return circuit after Mount Royal. The track starts from the southern end of Youngville campground. Thurs - G4 Mount Carrow 14km 7hours. This walk starts at 8am at the Mt Royal carpark. Walk along Youngs Road then deviate to the right along a bush track to Mount Carrow, 978m with great views. Then down an old logging track to Carrow Brook and back to Youngville campground. Book: Graeme

Outstanding rainforest and escarpment vegetation. While relatively short this full day walk is quite demanding and involves several steep sections. The first day will be the long and steady climb up the Corker Trail (several hundred metres) camping the night at Selby Alley Hut. The next day will be a G5 off track exploratory walk in the area near the hut. The last day will be the walk out. This will be high in the mountains and towards winter so the nights will be cold.
